*Esan People Protest Abandoned Benin- Auchi/ Ewu- Uromi Roads
To Shut Popular Ewu Junction 3 Days
The People of Esanland in Edo Central zone of the state have expressed sadness over the dilapidating state and neglect of roads in the area by the federal government, especially the Benin- Ekpoma- Ewu- Agbede- Auchi- Abuja, as well as the Ewu- Uromi axis of the trunk A Federal roads, and issued a notice to protest the grave insentivity of government and as well shutting the highway by the popular Ewu- Junction for three days , begining from October 1st – 3rd
In a notice of warning signed by one Imetobometale Ofeiyemu Iwolo, Director of Operations, ESAN PEOPLE’S UPRISING 2022, the people accused the authorities, particularly the federal government of neglecting them and also orchestrating the destruction of their economy, which is mainly agro- based and trading by not fixing the roads
They also fingered the lawmakers from the zone in the National and state Assemblies in the conspiracy for not riding up to speak for them
Arising from this ill feeling, Esan people under the aegis of “ESAN PEOPLE’S UPRISING 2022!*” have threatened to shut down the highway at the ever busy and strategic Ewu- Junction from Independence Day
Below is the full details of the
Warning Notice:
“WARNING NOTICE TO SHUT DOWN EWU JUNCTION FOR THREE DAYS TO PROTEST ABANDONED BENIN-AUCHI, UROMI-EWU ROADS*
We the people of Esanland, in a bid to protect ourselves from the continued neglect and orchestrated destruction of our economy and society by both the state and federal governments, considering also that our legislators in both state and federal government have failed us by their conspiratorial silence over the years, we have resolved to protest to the nation and the world at large and wish to serve this notice of an impending Total Shut Down of the Ewu Junction to vehicular movement from Independence Day to October 3 2022.
Take Notice that the resilient Esan People would block all vehicular movements through Benin Abuja Road and Uromi-Ewu Road at the the famous Ewu Junction for three days and three nights from October 1 to 3 2022. This Protest is to draw government’s attention to the nearly a decade dilapidation and government-abandonment-induced carnage on the entire Esan roads, and the very deplorable state of the Ekpoma axis, Irrua axis, Uromi axis and the Ewu Junction that has caused hundreds of death tolls, fire outbreaks and ghastly accidents.
Edo State and the Federal Governments are by this notice informed that to avoid this irrevocable decision of the Esan People to shut down the road they should use this two weeks notice to immediately effect, at least, a palliative measure on the road they have abandoned for over nine painful years.
The public who may be inconvenienced by this desperate measure are by this notice advised to find alternative routes or near with our painful but necessary surgical procedures to resolving the perennial problems of very bad and dangerous roads in Esanland.
Everyone living in Esanland are by this notice invited to move over to Ewu Junction bringing playing, sleeping and cooking materials and if they like let them bring all the armies of Nigeria and Congo to drive us out, we shall surely disobey but without violence.
Enough is Enough, Oneghe Osele!
Signed,
Imetobometale Ofeiyemu Iwolo😉
Director of Operations
ESAN PEOPLE’S UPRISING 2022!“

DSS Confirms Plot To Install Interim Govt

The Department of State Security Service has said that the plot to Instal interim government was real
DSS noted that the plot was “by some key players” to install an interim government and stop Bola Ahmed Tinubu from being inaugurated as president.
A statement on Wednesday, by Peter Afunanya, the public relations officer of the secret police, said: “The Department of State Services (DSS) has identified some key players in the plot for an Interim Government in Nigeria.
“The Service considers the plot, being pursued by these entrenched interests, as not only an aberration but a mischievous way to set aside the constitution and undermine civil rule as well as plunge the country into an avoidable crisis.
“The illegality is totally unacceptable in a democracy and to the peace loving Nigerians. This is even more so that the machination is taking place after the peaceful conduct of the elections in most parts of the country.”
